My Story

I’m Dani, an overworked millennial serving 25-to-life in mortgage jail. If Target served alcohol, 13/10 would live there. I reside in the wonderful City of Good Neighbors, Buffalo, NY. I love all things design, style, and decor.

Growing up I always enjoyed exploring creative outlets, from drawing, painting, writing, photography, crafts, and design. I have my mother to thank for her OCD cleanliness and organization, that I have grown to appreciate with “wisdom,” as well as her decorative style. Every season and holiday she would change out the decor around the house and creating coordinated table settings became common practice in our home. For his continued creative spirit, I look to my grandfather, who has inspired me throughout my childhood and to this day. He is a phenomenal artist, wood carver, and incredible story teller. I had the pleasure of growing up to the many stories he told and illustrated. I cannot say whether it be nature or nurture on how I came to acquire similar attributes, and a love for all fine arts, but I am grateful. I have found that being able to get creative helps me to de-stress from the day-to-day and find joy in the simple things.
